Who We Are
Greenforest Food is the leading producer of natural nutritious related food products in the East African region. Founded 20 years ago, our business activities are focused on five principal product sectors – refined honey, processed peanut, food grade beeswax,processed peanut butter and cashewnuts
We have worked with over 2000 small holder peanut farmers and over 5000 bee keepers in the Eastern African Region. Greenforest products are present in all retail outlets in Kenya serving all market segments of the economy. The products have also found their way into the greater EAC through distributors serving hotels and through regional restaurant chains.

Support for Local Farmers
In the past Greenforest Foods Ltd a Kenyan Small and Medium Enterprise firm recruited and contracted 2,000 smallholder farmers in Baringo and Elgeyo Marakwet counties with support from the European Union and Slovak Aid through its AgriFI Kenya Challenge Fund. This was a two-year project is supported by the European Union and Slovak Aid through its AgriFI Kenya Challenge Fund.
